So often we get so caught up in the technical side of Internet marketing, the SEO, website design, adwords campaigns and the other dozens of parts that make up a successful online business that we forget about what really makes an it all work.
Here’s a story that can put things in better perspective…
The Plot
Have you heard the story about the farmer and the preacher? Yes, I know this story can just as well be about the Internet Marketer Guru and the “newbie” (and it is) but let’s stick with the original story line.
Well one day a preacher was driving down a country road when he drove by one of the nicest looking farms he’d ever seen. It was a beautiful field of robust crops all in perfectly straight lines. The picturesque red barn and stately farmhouse were surrounded by rows of tall trees and colorful flowers. Plump cattle and horses grazed in the pasture.
Having been raised on a farm himself, the preacher had to stop a moment and take everything in. Read the rest of this entry
Hey folks, this video is hitting the internet like a fire storm.
It’s a great interview between Frank Kern, John Reese and Tony Robbins where they discuss a problem that plagues all of us from time to time, actually most of the time – and that waht holds us back from taking the action we need to take to achieve the level of success we so want.
Trust me, if you need a kick in the butt like most of us need then this video is a must watch. You WILL get a lot out of it.

At birth you were given certain skills and talents. They were present from the time of birth for you to use to grow and develop. There is very little that you can do to change them, but you can understand why some people do the things they do. By understanding these principles you can eliminate some problems.
Each one has some special talent that is given at birth that needs to be used for the good of all. The problem is that few people believe enough in themselves to really develop the talent. By not using it as it was meant to be, we lose it. Whatever talent or skill you have been given must be used or you will lose it. It’s a law.
There are also some principles that are given for each to use in building one’s life. They are there for everyone to use. If you use them, they will help you achieve the most from life. If you do not use them, they will work against you. They are there, you must use them. They are called the Principles of the Universe. There are ten principles that are very simple, but very powerful. Look at each carefully from your own perspective… Read the rest of this entry
There is a general pattern of behavior that all successful people follow on their road to success and happiness. When you understand this pattern, you can follow it too. It has to do with setting goals, refining skills, work and persistence.
There are many self-made successes, people who did not start out rich or well connected but ended up living the life of their dreams. Here’s an example of one person’s success pattern.
John had a strong desire to be a writer of fiction books, but his manuscripts were always rejected by magazines and book editors. John didn’t give up, though. Writing was his dream and his pleasure. He loved to sit at his computer and give free rein to his imagination, knowledge and experience.
Sometimes the words, the thoughts would just flow from out of nowhere and take shape on the page. No number of rejection letters could destroy the satisfaction he received from writing. He felt that eventually something good would happen. Read the rest of this entry
Hello and Welcome! I’m Dana McManus and I’ve dedicated the last 25 years to identifying the success secrets and essential characteristics of exceptional people.
This site is dedicated to helping you develop these essential skills, successful attitudes and empowering beliefs that can truly empower you to take charge of your life and achieve the dreams and success you deserve.
As I continue to build this site out, I’d like to point out five important “Principles for Personal Growth and Change” that I’ll be referring to throughout this site. The following is a summary of these principles…
1. All human beings form beliefs that underlie their performance.
Individuals act, work, and perform according to the truth as they believe it to be. What they have learned in the past influences the choices and risks they take today. Their beliefs lead to their attitudes, to their feelings, and finally, to their performance, which leads them either toward accomplishing their goals or falling further behind.
2. All human beings establish personal beliefs through repetition of thought.
Before anyone can make changes in their habit patterns, they need to know how they formed their current beliefs. Your spoken or unspoken thoughts to yourself are sometimes called “self-talk.” This selftalk, when repeated over and over is stored in the mind and becomes the “truth” as each person perceives it. If you repeat what others say, you begin to believe what they believe. Just because 50 people believe the same thing, does not make it true for you. Read the rest of this entry
